PeeMan’s Projects: Camper #3

True, it is camper refurb no. 3, but who’s counting? Well, my wife probably. But, as she knows, I can’t sit still for long. The Airstream is great for parking in a scenic spot and staying a while but not ideal for hauling across country. So, I set out to find myself a rolling bedroom.img_1501img_1497-2 Just someplace the wife and I can rest our weary bones while we are enjoying our golden years scoping out the wonders of these United States of America. When i finally found this next project, I bought her without even looking inside. I was gonna gut her anyway, so I was only concerned with a solid frame and exterior. Well, when I got her home, I was surprised to find that aside from the purple walls, this metal gem contains original cabinetry and fixtures. I don’t think I can let that go, soooo it’s gonna be more than just a gutting job.
This should keep me busy during the winter months. Speaking of winter months, things are not really slowing down in the pee business, just shifting to the protection of vehicles, campers(like mine), and boats from damage that can be caused by rodents looking for a warm place to stay. So as a result, the peeshots are flying out the door as fast as we can manufacture them. BobcatPeeShots for mice, CoyotePeeShots for rats and ‘coons, FoxPeeShots for squirrels, and WolfPeeShots for domestic and feral cats. I will update you on my camper project progress in a few weeks. In the mean time, make sure you protect your rv, boat, antique vehicle etc. with 100% PredatorPee.

Rodents Cause More Than £370m Of Damage Annually To Cars in the UK Alone

Guest Blogger Toby Bateson

Rats are renowned for being highly destructive. They are well known to damage food, clothing and buildings. roof-rat-961499_640They also target machines and computers, including the wiring in your car engine. Repairs can be expensive, sometimes an entire car may need rewiring as a result. For a high end sports car or SUV this can be in the region of £7000.

car-482683_640Research by Hammer Technologies has shown that an amazing 9% of car users in the UK have had their car damaged by rodents at some point. Damage found included chewed pipes, bitten plastic cowling and broken wires and pipes.

The reason they tend to do this is thought to be because their teeth grow constantly throughout their lives. They chew on hard materials such as steel wires in order to wear their teeth down. The warm engines of cars are also thought to attract rats looking for a home.

The survey demonstrated that the average cost of repair came to £300. The total cost of rat damage to cars every year was calculated to be an amazing £377,410,90.

The way this figure was found, if you are interested, is as follows.

In 2013 31 million cars were on the road in the UK, according to official Department of Transport figures. The survey showed an average of 1.86 rat damage events for each person who was affected. Eight of the 33 episodes reported occurred in the previous year.

9% of those surveyed had suffered rodent damage to their cars. The following sum calculates the total cost of the damage. 9% * 31 million cars * £300 * 1.86 episodes per person * (8÷33) episodes in the last year = £377,410,909.

If you have a car make sure you do everything you can to protect yourself. The PeeMan has products which will protect your car from rat damage.  Visit the store  now to get the protection you need.

Ward Off Winter Wire Chewers

Hello Again!
Well it has been a rough week around here. I am starting to feel like I am living in a bad country song. My truck broke. Then my motorcycle went on the fritz. If my dog dies or my wife leaves me then I will be right there with a tear in my beer. But, seriously it has been one of those weeks.RVPic

Enough personal stuff. In Maine, the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting cooler, and that can mean only one thing — fall is coming and winter will be short to follow. That means that it will soon be time to get those boats out of the water and rvs off the road. At the same time all the small nuisance rodents are eagerly waiting to find a warm cozy place in which to spend the long winter months. So it is time for you to start thinking about protecting these valuable assets from chewing, nesting rodents. And the PeeMan once again has your back. Our Car-Rv-Boat Pak is the solution to preventing the expensive damage that can happen when your rvs and boats are in winter storage. But, don’t take my word for it . . .

“Hi,
I have been ordering Bobcat Urine from you for so long that I am fuzzy on the details. I believe I did a Google search about nontoxic ways to get rid of mice. I believe that led me to some articles about bobcat urine, then I did a Google search on bobcat urine and there you were. It works great for my purposes. The fewer mice my cats bring in, the happier I am.”

“Sir, you have a very effective product. I have ordered your product in the past with no problems…Animal Control here in Temple City suggested your product.”
Nino

“A friend, who is a satisfied customer, recommended you. This is my second order. Obviously it worked the first time or I would not have ordered again.”

PeeMan’s Gotta Have Hobbies – Airstream Refurbish Post #2

Well, it has been a while since I have given you an update on the restoration of my metallic beauty. If you’ll recall from the previous post, she was in need of some serious interior TLC. That process is now in full swing, and although I may tend to jump and thrash my way through life, I am quite pleased with the way even the detailed work is coming along. I know, you are thinking “enough blathering – show me the pictures” – here ya go

I am quite impressed with myself. But, according to my family, that is not an uncommon occurrence. I am even more impressed with the weather that we have been enjoying lately. I have had  several opportunities to don my cutoffs and work outside in the glorious sunshine. Nothing like a dry, sunny spring day in Maine.  Having said that, I’m gonna get off this dang computer and go back outside. Have a good one!

PS  When you are outside getting the garden in, don’t forget to get your bottle of 100% Original PredatorPee to protect all your hard work.

PeeMan’s Gotta Have Hobbies – Airstream Refurbish Post #1

airstreamplaqueHowdy!

In earlier posts, I alluded to my current non pee-related project – my metal beauty – vintage Airstream International Land Yacht – just typing it gives me the chills. Well, this project began in the fall of 2012, was briefly interrupted when I had a heart attack(look for future blog posts on my personally developed heart healthy, low sodium menu), and has been kicked into high gear in the last month or so. My goal is to refurbish her in a manner consistent with the vintage quality, but I am not a stickler, and I won’t be searching for months for some authentic Airstream toilet bowl handle. My family knows that minutiae is not my strong suit. I am a big man – 6ft. 7in., and I have big ideas and tackle big projects, but I never sweat the small stuff. Anyway, enough talk. Check out the before pictures:

Oh, and for all you RVers out there, did you know that squirrels, mice, rats, raccoons etc can easily do $1000’s of damage to wires and upholstery in any type of vehicle. Our PeeShots are perfect for this application. Check out our Car-Boat-RV Pack.   Oops! I let a little business mix with pleasure, but I just couldn’t help myself.  The PeeMan
